I am Rick Lindholtz, a pastor ordained to the ministry of Word and Sacrament by The Evangelical Covenant Church. I serve Valley Evangelical Covenant Church in Stillman Valley, IL as Lead Pastor.

From 1986 - 2000 I pastored three Evangelical Covenant Churches in Michigan, Washington, and Texas.

From 2001 - 2009 I served on the ministry staff of Christ the King, a church of 1600 in Kingwood, TX with vitality and health, rooted deeply in Christian traditions yet deeply committed to a contemporary worship and witness. I served CTK as Director of Communications – a ministry assignment from God that encompasses worship planning, music leadership, drama, web and print communication, and outreach.

In 2010 I founded The Pastoral Arts, a ministry division of Artists in Christian Testimony International.

Please explore my site and contact me if I may be of service to you and your ministry.

"Because of our denominational limitations and due to Rick’s desire to remain connected to The Evangelical Covenant Church, Rick has not officially been considered an associate pastor here at Christ the King. Although he has not retained the title, he functions quite often in that capacity. Whether leading worship team and thus communicating the Word through the entire worship experience, presenting scriptural truths through the art of drama, delivering the Word of God to us here or in a sister congregation nearby which was in need of pastoral support, or in fully functioning as a team player with our staff of twenty, Rick serves as a pastor among us."
Pastor Al Doering, Christ the King

"It's a pretty long, God-sized story of how this pastor with skills in worship, drama, music, writing, communications, and evangelism came to join our staff. Rick has a tender, caring heart, and a winsome, inviting personality. He is a true model to me of a servant leader.  He assisted me frequently in the pastoral care of the dozens of volunteers in our music and technical ministries.  He wrote hundreds of liturgical elements (declarations of faith, confessions of sin, responsive readings, etc.) His genuine humility and servant’s heart would be a blessing to any congregation seeking someone with his broad set of ministry gifts and experiences.”Mark Senechal, Director of Worship and Music, Christ the King
